The 17th edition of Money in the Bank will take place on Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans (ESPN Unlimited, 6 p.m. ET). Money in the Bank is a premium live event headlined by men's and women's ladder matches where the winners vie to claim a briefcase that earns them the right to challenge for a WWE championship of their choosing. The annual Money in the Bank began in 2010, but the match dates back to 2005, when it debuted at WrestleMania 21. Six men and six women will participate in this year's men's and women's ladder matches. The event will also feature a pair of title matches, as Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight and Stephanie Vaquer puts the Women's World title on the line against Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch. Also on the card, Oba Femi and Bronson Reed square off in a singles match for the first time. Here are the stats to know heading into Money in the Bank. World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight Reigns hasn't lost a match since November 2025 at Survivor Series when his team of CM Punk and The Usos lost the WarGames main event. He is 6-0 this year, with his most recent win coming over Penta at "Raw" in Mexico City on Sept. 14. This will be the first one-on-one match between Reigns and Knight since Crown Jewel in 2023, when Reigns defeated Knight to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Knight has never beaten Reigns. Reigns has a 4-4 record at Money in the Bank. Most recently, he and Solo Sikoa lost to The Usos in 2023. Knight eyes his first Money in the Bank victory in his fourth match at the PLE. From November 2024 through February 2026, Knight was 0-8 in PLE matches. Since then, he's won back-to-back matches at WrestleMania 42 and SummerSlam. On Saturday, he could win a third consecutive PLE match for the second time in his career. Women's World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch Vaquer ended 2025 on a four-match winning streak at PLEs. However, that streak ended with a loss to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 in April. This will be Lynch's first PLE match since Clash in Italy in May. Most recently, she defeated Iyo Sky to retain the Women's Intercontinental Championship on "Raw" in April. This will be Lynch's ninth match at Money in the Bank, the most all-time in the women's division. Morgan seeks her fourth straight win at Money in the Bank. Two of those wins were in 2022, when she won the Money in the Bank ladder match before cashing in on Ronda Rousey that same night to win the SmackDown Women's title. Most recently, she and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Rousey and Shayna Baszler at Money in the Bank in 2023 to become women's tag team champions. If Morgan beats Vaquer and Lynch on Saturday, she will have the most Money in the Bank wins all-time in the women's division, passing Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Layla, who each have three wins. Men's Money in the Bank ladder match: CM Punk vs. Trick Williams vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Je'Von Evans This will be the 27th edition of the men's Money in the Bank ladder match. Of the 26 cash-in attempts so far, 20 of them have been successful. The most recent example took place at SummerSlam 2025 when Seth Rollins cashed in on CM Punk to claim the World Heavyweight Championship. No one has performed in more Money in the Bank ladder matches than Kofi Kingston and Kane, who both have seven appearances. Of those matches, only one yielded a victory. Kane won the 2010 match and cashed in later that night on Rey Mysterio to become World Heavyweight champion. This will be both CM Punk and Kevin Owens' fifth Money in the Bank ladder match. Penta is the only other participant in Saturday's event with any Money in the Bank experience. He competed in one such match in 2025. Punk won back-to-back Money in the Bank ladder matches at WrestleMania 24 and WrestleMania 25 in 2008 and 2009. Punk, Seth Rollins and Carmella are the only three WWE Superstars to win two Money in the Bank ladder matches. Owens will perform at his eighth Money in the Bank event, but has yet to record a win. His most recent Money in the Bank match was in the 2024 main event when he, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes were defeated by the Bloodline in a six-man tag team match. While Penta is 0-1 in Money in the Bank ladder matches, his lone WWE PLE victory came in a ladder match, which also featured six WWE competitors. At WrestleMania 42 in April, Penta won a ladder match to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Evans could win his first PLE match on the main roster. He is currently 0-3. At 22 years old, Evans will become the youngest Superstar to take part in a Money in the Bank ladder match. Williams will look to join The Miz as the only Superstars to win the Money in the Bank ladder match while also holding the United States Championship. Women's Money in the Bank ladder match: Roxanne Perez vs. Sol Ruca vs. Lash Legend vs. Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Tiffany Stratton Carmella won the first-ever women's Money in the Bank match in 2017, but was forced to relinquish the briefcase later that week due to outside interference by her manager, James Ellsworth. A rematch took place on "SmackDown" the following week, which Carmella won again -- she is the only woman to win two Money in the Bank ladder matches. Whoever wins this match has a great chance of cashing the briefcase in successfully. There has never been a failed women's Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in. Most recently, Naomi cashed in at WWE Evolution in July 2025, interrupting an active Rhea Ripley-Iyo Sky match to pin Sky and win the Women's World title. Stratton and Perez are the only participants with Money in the Bank ladder match experience. Perez competed in last year's match, and Stratton won the ladder match two years ago. Ruca has performed in just two main roster PLE matches (0-2). However, she does have experience in six-woman ladder matches. At NXT Stand & Deliver 2025, Ruca won a ladder match to win the vacant Women's North American Championship. She participated in a six-woman ladder match to determine the inaugural Women's North American champion at NXT Battleground in 2024. Women's United States champion Jacy Jayne has won six straight matches dating back to SummerSlam. She hasn't lost on television since July 17, when Stratton defeated her on "SmackDown." Singles match: Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed Femi has only lost two matches since joining the WWE main roster -- the 2026 Royal Rumble and a singles bout against Brock Lesnar at Clash in Italy in May. His record is an impressive 16-2. This will be Reed's first match in over seven months due to injury, and his first PLE match since participating in the men's Royal Rumble in January. His last PLE victory was with The Vision in the Survivor Series: WarGames main event in November 2025. This will be the first time Femi and Reed share the ring for a singles match.
