A teenager has reportedly stormed a school in Poland and stabbed multiple people, including the headteacher, with one school employee killed
A primary school worker has been killed and multiple others are injured after a teenager allegedly stormed a primary school in Poland and began stabbing people.
The incident unfolded at John Paul II Primary School in Leszczydół-Nowiny at around 9am this morning.
Three adults, including the headteacher, a janitor and teacher, are said to been attacked by the 15-year-old. It is understood the headteacher tackled the attacker.
"Despite resuscitation, it was not possible to save the life of a 37-year-old school employee," Masovian police said on X.
Officers said the 15-year-old suspect is in police custody with an investigation into the attack ongoing.
An earlier statement said: "A 15-year-old is already in police custody, who around 9am entered a school in the village of Leszczydół-Nowiny, in Wyszków County, and wounded 3 staff members of the facility with a sharp tool.
"Among the injured is the director, who subdued the 15-year-old. Police were on the scene just a few minutes after the report. At the moment, police activities are ongoing."
