They contacted local council officials when "police vehicles" were seen as Green filmed "The Northumbria Mysteries".

"There were a number of police cars seen in the town centre," a source told the Mirror.
"Some residents thought it was for a real-life crime. It was funny, it was caused by so much 'police activity' one particular street
"But it was Robson Green filming his latest series." Green, 61, who pictured enjoying himself in scenes filmed in nearby Morpeth in August.
He lives in a cottage near Hexham, about an hour's drive from Alnwick.
The popular actor revealed that filming for the new eight-part BBC crime drama ended two months ago.
It is set and filmed across the stunning coastline and market towns of Northumberland. He stars as Joe Ruby, a jack-of-all-trades, former convict, and washed-up gambler who teams up with DI Rose O'Connell, played by Liz White.
She is an 'ice-cool, Oxford-educated intellectual' who forms an unconventional partnership with Joe.
Green has filmed extensively in his home county in the past, including a popular ITV series "Tales from Northumberland."
He travelled across the area in 2016, interviewing local people.
Actors Simon Callow, Kevin Whately, Chris Gascoyne, and Gurjeet Singh all appear in the series produced by Newcastle-based Lonesome Pine Productions.
