Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece, was caught on an audio recording raging about not being invited to a dinner party with the Trump family, according to a report.
Guilfoyle, who was engaged to Donald Trump Jr. before they called it off in 2024, had a meltdown in January after learning that she wasn’t on the invite list for a dinner organized by Greek House Davos with Eric Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported.
“You don’t have the f****** U.S., you know, ambassador to Greece not come. She should be kissing my f****** ass,” Guilfoyle appears to have said of the event’s organizer.
Guilfoyle allegedly flexed her connections to wealthy Greek businessmen who were paying for her luxury travels at Davos before convincing an American businessman to help her snag an invite, according to audio reviewed by the Journal.
“You know, I can deliver the world to you, which you deserve,” she appeared to have said, according to an audio recording reviewed by the Journal. “I’m going to make you a lot of f****** money.”
While Guilfoyle managed to weasel her way into the event, organizers indicated that things had not gone smoothly and that Guilfoyle ended up leaving early.
Organizers “had to manage a small crisis [that] affected a number of high-profile guests,” the chairwoman of the venue, Irene Vantaraki, told the newspaper, adding that “some were disappointed.”
The report alleging Guilfoyle traded access comes days after news broke that she pressed wealthy MAGA donor Eric Deters for $100,000 to pay off her American Express bill, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
In exchange for the funds, she offered Deters help getting the Trump administration to look into his personal tax and legal issues. However, a lawyer for Guilfoyle disputed the authenticity of the messages to the outlet.
“I just heard about it. It’s too bad,” Trump told reporters when asked about the report on Friday. “I mean, I don’t know. She’s an ambassador….She was always very nice.”
The State Department Office of the Inspector General is also investigating whether Guilfoyle received gifts or favors from private businessmen during her time as ambassador, according to the Journal.
