Woman arrested as baby girl dies after report of concern at Cambourne home Officers with Cambridgeshire Police were called to an address in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, after receiving a report of concern for a woman and a baby girl A woman has been arrested following the death of a baby girl in Cambridgeshire. Emergency services were called to a property in Oxford Way, Cambourne, at around 7.40am on Saturday following a report of concern for a woman and a baby. Cambridgeshire Police officers attended and the baby was rushed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where she was sadly pronounced dead on arrival. The force said the woman has been arrested in connection with the death. Detective Inspector Andy Moralee said: "This is a tragic death of a baby girl - a very sad and, we believe, isolated incident. The circumstances remain under investigation, but we are treating her death as suspicious."
