Strictly Come Dancing updates - Delta Goodrem replaced tonight as another star dealt bad news The glitz and the glam of Strictly Come Dancing is back this evening, and with Delta Goodrem out the show due to injury, the other celebrities will want to put their best foot forward in Icons Week Strictly Come Dancing is back this evening - and the remaining celebrities will be hoping to top the leaderboard in Icons Week. The stars and their professional dance partners will be hoping to secure top marks as they dance to tracks by icons including Mariah Carey, RAYE, Frank Sinatra and Jon Bon Jovi. There will be a tribute to Dolly Parton from country singer Belles, with Amy Dowden dancing alongside Kai Widdrington. Kai and his partner, Delta Goodrem, won't dance this weekend due to her rib injury. Amy was partnered with first-out Chris Appleton on the show last year, and former pro Brendan later did an interview where he said, "To be a pro on Strictly is a big job and one has to be up to the challenge. Amy has not been up to the challenge, in my opinion." Now, Amy has told The Mirror what she really thinks of the comments he made. "I’ll be honest, what do you expect from him? It’s fine. I’ve never been brought up to be personal, and in this day and age especially I think it’s so important to be kind, and to think about the next generation," she told The Mirror. "I always try to use my platform in the right way. I work with various charities. But also I want to be the right kind of role model. Fans may know that Delta is not performing this week due to a rib injury. In a statement earlier in the week, she said: "I’m absolutely gutted that a rib injury means I won’t be able to dance on Strictly this week. I’ve been loving every second of this experience, so having to sit this one out is heartbreaking – especially after the high of Saturday night. "I cannot tell you how much I love being a part of this magical show." The singer will focus on rest and recovery and hopes to “be back on that dancefloor very soon". She added: "I’ll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines this week!" As per show rules, Delta and Kai will receive a bye to next week's show. What time is Strictly on today?
