A man and a woman have been charged following a horror arson attack that killed four members of the same family.
Parents, Philip and Kim English, died alongside their two young sons, Callum, 12, and Jayden, nine, when their home in Co Waterford, Ireland, went up in flames on Tuesday this week.
On Thursday, Gardai confirmed the arrest of a man in his 20s and a woman in his 30s. Officers said the pair have now been charged.
It comes after the fatal inferno broke out at the property in the early hours of Tuesday, killing the four family members and injuring two other children. It is understood the younger children remain in critical condition in hospital.
The incident sent shockwaves throughout the local community, with tributes describing the family as "well known" and "much loved".
Gardai said earlier this week it was searching for 'person or persons' in connection with the house fire, as officers said they believed the property was targeted in an arson attack.
