Early bets for Week 7: Three games to target right away
Key Points
Most of Week 6 is in the books, so we're already looking ahead to Week 7. Which games grabbed our analysts' attention? The Minnesota Vikings will look to keep their perfect start going when they host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Most of Week 6 is in the books, so we're already looking ahead to Week 7. Which games grabbed our analysts' attention?
The Minnesota Vikings will look to keep their perfect start going when they host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Vikings are early 5.5-point favorites, tied for the second-largest spread of the week.
The New York Jets visit the winless Miami Dolphins in a game that has the second-lowest points total of the week (38.5).
The Pittsburgh Steelers, fresh off an overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in Paris.
Who do we like? Matt Bowen, Pamela Maldonado and Eric Moody break down the games and share the bets they're backing before potential odds shifts later in the week.

Minnesota Vikings -5.5 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Bowen: I'll take Minnesota and give the points because of Brian Flores' defense. This unit is allowing a league-low 12.8 PPG and leads the NFL with a blitz rate of 67.6%. The Vikings will heat up the pocket versus Daniel Jones and a Colts offense that is limited without a true vertical element in the game plan. I like Minnesota to cover at home.
Last week: Buccaneers +3 (Result: Steelers 26, Buccaneers 19 in OT)
Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 at New Orleans Saints
Moody: The Steelers have won two straight, including an overtime victory last Sunday in Tampa Bay. The Saints have allowed 31.7 points per game over their last three contests and rank 29th in total yards allowed. New Orleans has also struggled against the run, allowing 138 rushing yards per game through six weeks. That should give Steelers running back Jaylen Warren opportunities to make an impact. The Steelers should win this by at least a field goal.
Last week: Bears-Falcons OVER 47.5 (Result: Bears 31, Falcons 23)
Miami Dolphins at New York Jets total UNDER 39.5
Maldonado: Miami has scored 13 points or less in four of five games. The Jets' pass rush can make moving the ball even harder. Malik Willis has already taken 14 sacks, so a stalled run or an incomplete pass can quickly turn into another punt. New York isn't scoring either and is converting only 35% of third downs, bottom 10 in the league. Miami's run defense gives it a chance to force those longer passing situations, making touchdown drives harder for both offenses. Give me punts.
