Banged-up Rams lose star WR Adams for 6-10 weeks, McVay says
Key Points
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams ruptured a hamstring in Sunday's home loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and he will be sidelined for six to 10 weeks, coach Sean McVay announced Monday. It wasn't the only major injury suffered by a significant Rams player Sunday. Poona Ford will miss the rest of the season with a ruptured triceps, and fellow defensive tackle Kobie Turner will be out four to six weeks because of a groin injury.

In addition, kicker Blake Grupe suffered a torn ACL in the game, and he will be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign. The Rams had just signed Grupe last week after releasing the struggling Harrison Mevis.
The injuries are the latest hits for a Rams team that entered the season as Super Bowl favorites but sit at 2-4 after six weeks.
Star defensive end Myles Garrett has played just one game for the team after he was acquired in a blockbuster offseason trade. Garrett, who is on injured reserve due to a knee injury, will not return to practice this week, McVay said.
