Prince Harry has said he “wants it to work out” with his family – but he claimed that others “don’t want to”.
In an interview with GQ, the Duke of Sussex said that: “There’s enough drama in the world.. to continue with issues with family.”
About the prospect of reconciliation, he said: “People maybe look at us and go, ‘How are you going to work it out?’ And then, maybe, how I see you’re going to work it out, maybe that will help me work my stuff out. And some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out.”
He added: “with everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That’s the key point.”
Harry and Meghan Markle set up home back in England in August, six years after quitting the working monarchy for a new life in the US.
The prince and his older brother Prince William have had a strained relationship since the Sussexes decided to step down from the Royal Family in 2020 and relocate to California.
It is believed they have not spoken in several years, and have not been seen publicly together since the King’s coronation in 2023.
