Zelensky celebrates as Ukraine hits Putin's war factory with British missile and Starlink returns

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is toasting a successful victory after his forceslanded a direct hit on Putin’s war factory using British missiles, according to reports. Video shared from the battlefield appears to show a major complex in Oryol, Russia, being destroyed by a Storm Shadow missile. It produced components for ballistic weapons,The Sunreports. The huge fireball above the Proton-Electrotex factory is as the second major victory for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a matter of days. He is also celebrating the return of Starlink connectivity to the battlefield. The internet connection, and its military equivalent Starshield, are used for mobile communications and controlling drones — a key feature of the Russia-Ukraine War. Its speeds were cut earlier this month, leading to talks between President Zelensky, Starlink owner Elon Musk, and Donald Trump in an effort to reconnect the service. On Saturday, October 24, it appears Zelensky was toasting its return. He posted on X: “The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. “The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.” I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.” Elsewhere, Melania Trump claims she has brokered a ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid to reach the Ukrainian city of Oleshky, close to the Crimean Peninsula, where starvation is said to be growing.
