United States star Christian Pulisic is set to sign a new contract with AC Milan through to 2031, sources have told ESPN. The deal for Pulisic, 28, is set to be announced in the next few days. Pulisic's deal was due to expire in June 2027, but a source has confirmed he has decided to extend for a further four years. Pulisic joined AC Milan in 2023 from Chelsea for a fee in the region of €22 million ($24.4m). At the Serie A club, Pulisic has 44 goals and 28 assists across his 141 appearances and was the club's top scorer in the 2024-25 season. Pulisic signed for Borussia Dortmund back in 2015 and established himself as one of the best young players in the Bundesliga. Chelsea signed him for £58m ($71.7m) in 2018 and there he won the 2021 Champions League. But injury disrupted his progress at Chelsea and in 2023, AC Milan saw off competition from Juventus, Lyon and Galatasaray to sign him. Pulisic missed most of AC Milan's preseason due to the injury he sustained during the World Cup. But after a steady reintegration into the first-team under Ruben Amorim, he has become an integral part of Amorim's Milan blueprint, playing in both the No. 10 role and on the wing. At international level, Pulisic has established himself as a key player for the USMNT with 33 goals in 90 appearances. He played in both the 2022 and 2026 World Cups for the USMNT and won the U.S. Soccer male player of the year in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. - Pulisic goal for Milan caps great Sunday for USMNT stars in Europe
