Obama’s mic toss after zinging Trump while campaigning for El-Sayed goes viral
Barack Obama has gone viral after his walk-off mic toss following a barnstorming rally appearance supporting Democrats in Michigan was posted online.
The former president appeared alongside Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed and gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson in Detroit on October 24.
During his speech, Obama tore into the current administration over corruption, incompetence and, memorably, said Donald Trump’s White House renovations were “looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory.”
But a slow-motion clip posted by the El-Sayed campaign on October 27, showing Obama tossing his microphone to a waiting aide as he walks off stage, has so far racked up five million views on X.
