Octopus Energy has announced it is giving customers Uber Eats vouchers ahead of a very special event - and it's easy to claim.
On its Instagram, the energy provider said that this afternoon (October 30), they are "dropping £8 Uber Eats vouchers" ahead of the Celebrity Traitors finale. Yesterday it wrote: "Wanna order in plain sight? We’re dropping £8 Uber Eats vouchers on Octoplus tomorrow afternoon to help you enjoy The Traitors finale."
It then joked: "Don your robes, cosy up in your castles, and let us help with dinner. You’ve got enough on your plate deciding who to trust."
In order to claim the free £8 voucher, Octopus Energy customers simply need to head over to the Octoplus tab in their Octopus app or web dashboard. New and existing Uber Eats customers welcome, it said.
Octopus Energy confirmed to the Mirror that the vouchers are available to all Octoplus customers. To join Octoplus, you need to be an Octopus Energy customer, have a smart meter, and pay your bills by Direct Debit.
The codes will be released shortly today, it confirmed.
The firm powers over 10 million homes in Britain and abroad. This isn't the first time the provider has given customers vouchers. Last year for 'Pink Friday', it gave away £8 Uber Eats vouchers for 8,000 customers, among other discounts for popular brands.
When is the Celebrity Traitors finale 2026?
The Celebrity Traitors final will air tonight on Friday, October 30 at 8pm on BBC One. The BBC has confirmed it will be an extended episode, running for 80 minutes compared to its usual one-hour slot.
Two traitors are still in the game - this includes TV presenter Maya Jama and YouTube star King Kenny. On the Faithful team, five people remain - this team is formed of pop star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, singer James Blunt, actor Michael Sheen, actor and singer Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan.
After the final, the cast of this year's show will join Claudia Winkleman and Ed Gamble in front of a studio audience. Expect first reactions from the cast and post-show interviews as they break down all the drama from the finale.
