Man's life turns into 'horror movie' after creepy discovery in attic A man got the fright of his life after making an unexpected discovery in his attic - and he was so freaked out by it, he decided to contact the previous homeowner for answers After living in a house for four years, you'd assume you'd know everything about the property, but it seems this isn't always the case. That's exactly what one man came to learn after making a creepy discovery in the attic of his 1900s home. He explained how he was retrieving some decorations from the attic when he decided to move some furniture around while he was up there. It was at this point that he made a creepy discovery. On Reddit, he said: "My house was said to be built in 1900, but I have suspicions it’s older than that as the houses all around me are. "While moving furniture I came across a discovery of a pile of what I believe are human teeth. "I’ve lived here for almost four years and have not noticed these before now. I’m not sure what to do with this information!" He says he is now convinced he is living alongside a ghost, pointing to other unexplained happenings he has experienced since moving into the property. 'I realise I sound nuts' He added: "I’ve had tragic things happen the past two autumns in a row, and I’m slowly convincing myself that the teeth in the attic have something to do with it. "I’ve been convinced I’ve had a ghost since I’ve lived here. "I chose to ignore the teeth for the night and what I’m now realising is a horrible picture from my panic-induced time in the attic. "I'm worried moving them will make whatever spirits angry (yes, I realise I sound nuts)." Terrified, he decided to reach out to the previous homeowner in the hope of putting his mind at ease about the discovery. But he was surprised to learn that the mysterious teeth had been there for much longer than he initially thought. 'He suspected they were human teeth too' Sharing an update, he revealed that the previous owner had also stumbled across the teeth several years after moving into the property, suggesting they could have been hidden in the attic for many years. He said: "He bought the place in 2005, and said that the person who he purchased the house from rented the house out. So the teeth have been in the house for a very long time. He suspected they were human teeth too. "I'm a big believer in spirits and items that can ward off evil, so right now I'm choosing to believe that someone put them there as a form of protection at some point in time. "The teeth are very old (yes they are indeed teeth and not just a pile of dirt as some have said, my attic is not insulated or finished so it’s not a place I spend time cleaning). "So for now, I'm going to let the teeth live in the corner of the attic. I'm going to my town's historical society this weekend to see if I can find more information about my home." 'Call the police' Commenting on his post, one user said: "I would suggest a police report and let them move it with their own gloves. Do not touch them just in case, but yeah super weird if you've had tragedies and then discover these." Another user added: "Old folk magic could have everything to do with it, depending on what you believe." A third user said: "Have you looked into the history of the missing people in your area? That and a police call obviously, but don't expect them to react. These could be animal teeth and thats probably what they will say whether its real or not."
