Entering Sunday's game, Jennings has just four receptions (on eight targets) for 43 yards this season. He signed with the Vikings this offseason on a one-year deal worth up to $13 million.
Jennings, 29, led the 49ers in receiving touchdowns (nine) last season, to go with 55 receptions for 643 yards, despite battling through rib, ankle and shoulder issues for a chunk of the season.
That 2025 production followed a career year in 2024, when Jennings had 77 catches for 975 yards and six touchdowns. He spent his first five seasons with the 49ers, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2020 draft.
The 49ers have dealt with several injuries at wide receiver this season. It started in training camp when Ricky Pearsall was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. Rookie De'Zhaun Stribling and veteran Demarcus Robinson are both currently on injured reserve and Deebo Samuel Sr. and Mike Evans have missed games with injuries.
