UCLA is 9-0 for the first time since 1998 and moved up to No. 4. It's the Bruins' highest ranking since their 2001 team was No. 4 following a 6-0 start. Miami, which held the No. 1 ranking for three weeks, fell to No. 5 after its first loss. Indiana, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee and Texas Tech completed the top 10. Ohio State, which was No. 2 two weeks ago, went from No. 11 after its loss at USC to No. 21 this week after a 41-28 home loss to Oregon. The Buckeyes haven't been ranked so low, excluding the 2020 pandemic season, since 2014.
