The Long Island natives could easily be mistaken for a British Invasion band, thanks to their unmistakable harmonies and retro blend of pop, folk and psychedelic rock. Michael and Brian D'Addario come from a musical family, one where The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Byrds were played on loop. Their sixth studio album "Look for Your Mind!" feels like a musical time machine back to the 1960s, with themes and lyrics that feel surprisingly relevant today – from the impact of artificial intelligence on creative industries as well as protest songs about the state of politics and society. We also take a look at new music from someone who was also once part of a musical duo: Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter, who is releasing a classical-inspired record called "Mirage - Ballet for 16 Dancers". Plus, festival season kicks off in France thanks to "We Love Green" in the suburbs of Paris, with headliners including Gorillaz, The XX and Franco-Congolese rising star Theodora.
