Interpretable Modeling of Driver Attention Shifts with a Vision-Language Model

Announce Type: replace Abstract: Driver gaze is commonly modeled as a spatial heatmap, but heatmaps alone are difficult for humans to interpret because they do not explain which road object or region is being monitored or why an attention shift may matter. This study examines whether minimal human-grounded supervision can steer a vision--language model toward interpretable descriptions of driver attention shifts. Using selected high-change gaze moments from the Berkeley DeepDrive-Attention...

ClinicalAligner26AM: A Cross-Lingual Aligner for Dataset Translation; Evidences from the MultiClinCorpus Shared Task

arXiv:2606.08673v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Word-level cross-lingual alignment is central to annotation projection, translation auditing, and cross-lingual faithfulness estimation, yet existing neural aligners are rarely adapted to specialized domains. In this paper, we introduce ClinicalAligner26AM, a large-context multilingual aligner model for biomedical and clinical text initialized from ClinicalEncoder26AM. Our training recipe is inspired by AWESoME Align.

The Violation Situation Pattern: A Knowledge-Graph Pattern for Compliance Violations

arXiv:2606.03326v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Compliance pipelines detect violations as transient query results and do not keep the violation itself as a persistent graph object with review state, affected entities, or audit history. The Violation Situation Pattern (VSP) closes this gap. Building on the Situation pattern of Gangemi and Mika, VSP reifies each detected violation as a graph node with a rule identifier, a temporal validity interval, a lifecycle state, and evidence links to the...
