T-SAR-JEPA: Self-Supervised Temporal Anomaly Detection in SAR Amplitude Stacks via Latent Prediction

arXiv:2606.05700v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We present T-SAR-JEPA, a self-supervised framework for temporal anomaly detection in SAR amplitude stacks via latent prediction. A ViT-Base/16 encoder from SAR-JEPA is domain-adapted on 39,300 Capella patches using local masked reconstruction with gradient feature prediction. A temporal transformer with sinusoidal time encoding forecasts future latent states from K=7 acquisitions, with progressive unfreezing substantially reducing validation loss.

Autoregressive Visual Generation Needs a Prologue

arXiv:2605.06137v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: In this work, we propose Prologue, an approach to bridging the reconstruction-generation gap in autoregressive (AR) image generation. Instead of modifying visual tokens to satisfy both reconstruction and generation, Prologue generates a small set of prologue tokens prepended to the visual token sequence. These prologue tokens are trained exclusively with the AR cross-entropy (CE) loss, while visual tokens remain dedicated to reconstruction.

Asymptotic Recovery in Fourier Spectral Methods for the Schr\"odinger Equation with Point Singularities

arXiv:2606.01718v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: This paper studies the Fourier spectral method (FSM) for the Schr\"odinger equation with singular potentials $V \in H^{s}$, where $s > \max\{d/2-2,-1\}$ and $d$ denotes the spatial dimension. This setting includes a broad class of singular potentials, such as the 3D Coulomb potential and the 1D Dirac-delta potential.

Avian Visitors

Avian Visitors I was initally planning on leaving this as a ‘true’ personal project of sorts. I love a good project writeup of course, but frankly I thought this was too quick an afternoon project to warrant any more documentation than a tweet. Twitter thought otherwise … i mounted a tiny microphone on my apartment balcony to listen for any birds passing by and built a site to collage them as they're heard pic.twitter.com/85KrLRL5tu —
