OpenACMv2: An Accuracy-Constrained Co-Optimization Framework for Approximate DCiM

Announce Type: replace Abstract: Digital Compute-in-Memory (DCiM) accelerates neural networks by reducing data movement. Approximate DCiM can further improve power-performance-area (PPA), but demands accuracy-constrained co-optimization across coupled architecture and transistor-level choices. Building on OpenYield, we introduce Accuracy-Constrained Co-Optimization (ACCO) and present OpenACMv2, an open framework that operationalizes ACCO via two-level optimization: (1) accuracy-constrained...

Alpha-RTL: Test-Time Training for RTL Hardware Optimization

arXiv:2606.05253v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Large language models (LLMs) have shown increasing promise in generating functionally correct register-transfer-level (RTL) hardware designs. Recent systems improve further through EDA-integrated reinforcement learning with syntax, simulation, and PPA rewards, but train a general RTL generator before deployment while test-time approaches search with a frozen policy. We instead perform reinforcement learning at test time, allowing the LLM policy...

Strengthening Polymorphic Prompt Assembling: Dynamic Separator Generation Against Emerging Prompt Injection Attacks

arXiv:2605.30534v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Polymorphic Prompt Assembling (PPA) defends LLM agents against prompt injections by randomly selecting separator pairs from a fixed pool to isolate user input from system instructions. Although effective, static pool reuse exposes a blast-radius vulnerability: once a separator leaks, it can be exploited in future requests. We propose a dynamic per-request separator generation using domain-separated SHA-256 digests keyed on the timestamp,...

Randomized separations in black-box TFNP

arXiv:2606.04697v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We study the relationship between deterministic and randomized black-box reducibility between problems in TFNP. Our main contribution is a general technique that establishes equivalence between these reducibility types from specific TFNP problems to any TFNP problem. In particular, we show that this equivalence holds for reductions from complete problems in PPP, PPAD, PPA, and $t$-PPP.

RTLScout: Joint Agentic Code and Synthesis Optimization for Efficient Digital Circuits

Announce Type: new Abstract: We present RTLScout, an autonomous system that combines LLM-driven agentic design with circuit-level synthesis optimization and arithmetic architecture sweeps. An LLM agent iteratively writes, evaluates, and refines RTL designs using tool calls, guided by quantitative PPA (power, performance, area) feedback from Yosys and OpenROAD. We introduce a multi-run elite pool framework, where the best designs and lessons learned seed subsequent agent runs.

FQA: A Full-Space Quantization-Driven Architecture for Hardware-Efficient Piecewise Approximation of Nonlinear Activation Functions

arXiv:2606.05627v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: In this paper, we propose a full-space quantization-driven architecture (FQA) for the hardware-efficient piecewise polynomial approximations (PPAs) of nonlinear activation functions. FQA comprehensively considers both fractional-bit truncation error and quantization error that cause the deviation of the optimal approximation coefficients. Crucially, FQA can precisely determine and search the complete range of optimal coefficients.

FlowPlace: Flow Matching for Chip Placement

arXiv:2604.23658v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Chip placement plays an important role in physical design. While generative models like diffusion models offer promising learning-based solutions, current methods have the following limitations: they use random synthetic data for pre-training, require long sampling times, and often result in overlaps due to their dependence on gradient-based solvers during the sampling process.
