The Synthesis-Sequencing Channel for DNA-based Data Storage
arXiv:2606.07216v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We introduce and study the synthesis-sequencing channel, a two-stage model for DNA-based data storage that jointly captures synthesis and sequencing effects. The synthesis-sequencing channel provides a more nuanced and realistic model of the DNA storage process compared to prior work, as it distinguishes between physical coverage after synthesis and sequencing coverage after readout, relaxes the assumption of independent errors across reads,...
A large-scale nanocrystal database with aligned synthesis and properties enabling generative inverse design
Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: The synthesis of nanocrystals has been highly dependent on trial-and-error, due to the complex correlation between synthesis parameters and physicochemical properties. Although deep learning offers a potential methodology to achieve generative inverse design, it is still hindered by the scarcity of high-quality datasets that align nanocrystal synthesis routes with their properties. Here, we present the construction of a large-scale, aligned Nanocrystal...
DeblurNVS: Geometric Latent Diffusion for Novel View Synthesis from Sparse Motion-Blurred Images
Announce Type: new Abstract: Novel view synthesis (NVS) is a fundamental problem in computer vision and graphics. Recent advances in neural radiance fields (NeRF), 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), and generative view synthesis have substantially improved its quality.
Foley-Omni: A Unified Multimodal Generation Model from Task-Level Audio Synthesis to Complete Video Soundtrack Generation
Announce Type: new Abstract: Recent unified audio generation models can support diverse tasks across speech, sound effects, and music, but most of them still focus on isolated task-level synthesis. However, real video production often requires multiple components of a complete audio track to be generated jointly and consistently for the same video. We present Foley-Omni, a unified multimodal audio generation model that extends isolated task-level synthesis to complete video soundtrack...
Physics-Informed Neural Engine Sound Modeling with Differentiable Pulse-Train Synthesis
Announce Type: replace Abstract: Engine sounds originate from sequential exhaust pressure pulses rather than sustained harmonic oscillations. While neural synthesis methods typically aim to approximate the resulting spectral characteristics, we propose directly modeling the underlying pulse shapes and temporal structure. We present the Pulse-Train-Resonator (PTR) model, a differentiable synthesis architecture that generates engine audio as parameterized pulse trains aligned to engine firing...
MMTalker: Multiresolution 3D Talking Head Synthesis with Multimodal Feature Fusion
Announce Type: replace Abstract: Speech-driven three-dimensional (3D) facial animation synthesis aims to build a mapping from one-dimensional (1D) speech signals to time-varying 3D facial motion signals. Current methods still face challenges in maintaining lip-sync accuracy and producing realistic facial expressions, primarily due to the highly ill-posed nature of this cross-modal mapping. In this paper, we introduce a novel 3D audio-driven facial animation synthesis method through...
Simple synthesis and functionalisation of α-hydroxyglycine-containing peptide fragments
We report here a method for the chemical synthesis of Fmoc-protected -hydroxyglyine (-OH-Gly) dipeptides. Our method features operational simplicity and is compatible with protecting groups for peptide synthesis. Utility is then demonstrated through substitution at the -OH-Gly position to yield myriad non-natural amino acid-containing dipeptide fragments.
Segmentation-Assisted Brain MRI Synthesis with Cross-Image Multi-Contrast Feature Memory Bank Retrieval Augmentation
Announce Type: new Abstract: Multi-contrast brain MRI provide complementary soft-tissue characteristics that aid in the screening and diagnosis of diseases. However, limited scanning time, image corruption and various imaging protocols often result in incomplete multi-contrast images. While current approaches excel in image synthesis, they often struggle to synthesize critical tumor regions and exploit contextual information in multi-contrast brain MRI effectively.
Towards Efficient Synthesis of Quantum Graph States by Fusing Graph Motifs
Announce Type: cross Abstract: Photonic graph states with advanced topologies can enable measurement-based quantum computing, distributed quantum sensing, and quantum interconnects. However, the efficient generation of photonic graph states is limited by the probabilistic nature of photonic entangling operations and the exponential dependence of generation rate on resource cost. In this work, we study photonic graph state synthesis as a cost-aware decomposition problem, exploiting local...
Combinatorial Synthesis: Scaling Code RLVR via Atomic Decomposition and Recombination
arXiv:2605.31058v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Reinforcement Learning with Verifiable Rewards (RLVR) has recently emerged as the cornerstone for shaping the remarkable coding abilities of Large Language Models (LLMs). However, the scalability of RLVR is severely constrained by the scarcity of sufficiently challenging verifiable code tasks that target near the model's edge of competence. Prior studies often rely on heuristic seed expansions for data synthesis, which severely limits both...
