Power to the people: how ‘balcony solar’ could help fight rising US utility costs
Rising US residential energy prices have caused electricity bills to surge by approximately 30% since 2020. To combat these increasing costs, more Americans are adopting small, lightweight solar panels on their balconies or backyards. In-Context Learning for the Imputation of Public Opinion Data with Large Language Models
arXiv:2606.09351v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Large language models have been widely evaluated as simulators of individual survey responses. In practice, however, fully unobserved responses are rare; the dominant problem is partial non-response. Imputation aims to restore the overall structure of a survey dataset by filling in these missing values.

Mutation-dependent responses to sleep and exercise in clonal haematopoiesis
Abstract Clonal haematopoiesis (CH) activates inflammation and increases the risk of atherosclerosis1,2. Whether lifestyle alters CH clone expansion or the phenotypic programming of CH mutant cells, thereby affecting atherosclerosis, is unknown. Here, in humans and mice and across mutations in Jak2, Tet2, Trp53 and Dnmt3a, we demonstrate mutation-dependent responses to sleep and exercise in CH and show that mutant cells are uniquely sensitive to lifestyle.
