A man has died in a maximum security prison days after driving his car at police officers before crashing into a police station in Western New South Wales. Donny Hobbs was denied bail on Friday after he was charged with multiple offences, including dangerous driving and damaging property in the crash at Mudgee police station. The ABC understands the 67-year-old was then taken into custody at Bathurst Correction Facility as a remand inmate staying in the maximum security part of the prison.
