World's biggest bouncy castle arrives in UK in bid to be top Brit attraction The world's largest inflatable playground features adults-only bouncy castle nights, foam parties and a fully-stocked bar The world's largest bouncy castle is heading to the UK this summer for the first time ever – and bosses say it will be one of Britain's big attractions this summer. 'Mega Bounce' makes its eagerly-awaited debut in July, with an exclusive six-week residency. The attraction covers 2,500 square metres, towers more than eight metres high and boasts giant slides, obstacle courses, sports challenges and dedicated bouncing arenas. The enormous inflatable will open at Braintree village in Essex from 18 July until 31 August, transforming a space alongside the popular shopping destination into a festival-style entertainment hub packed with food vendors, games and live music. And it isn't just for the kids. Once family sessions wrap up each evening, the attraction shifts up a gear for adults-only events featuring DJs, karaoke, a fully stocked bar and late-night festival vibes, as reported by creatorzine. Selected Saturdays will also play host to foam parties, with organisers pledging high-energy sessions combining music, bouncing and immersive foam effects. Those booking a bounce session will enjoy unlimited access to the attraction throughout a 60-minute slot. The day kicks off with calmer sessions aimed at visitors who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere, before transitioning into all-ages sessions with music, lighting effects and entertainment running throughout the day. Organisers describe the attraction as one of the biggest family-friendly launches of the summer break. Josef O'Sullivan, centre director at Braintree Village, said: "After the success of The Monster at Braintree Village last summer, we wanted to come back with something even bigger and better this year. "Mega Bounce making its UK debut here at Braintree Village is incredibly exciting, and we expect to see visitors from far and wide." The bouncy castle was previously in Dubai. Guests will also discover giant Jenga, Connect 4, ping-pong, food stalls and drink vendors across the event arena. Mr O'Sullivan added: "We're certain that this is going to be one of the best attractions available in the country over the summer holidays." Standard admission tickets cost £18, with reductions available for bigger groups and members of Braintree Village's PLUS+ rewards scheme. The attraction opens daily from 10am until 9pm.
