Brooklyn Beckham LIVE: Brooklyn says 'it's complicated' as he breaks silence after Harper snub Brooklyn Beckham has returned to social media after his younger sister, Harper, was spotted outside his home in Los Angeles, while he didn't address his family feud, he said 'it's complicated' Brooklyn Beckham has spoken for the first time after snubbing his sister, Harper. Hours after the Beckhams gathered as Sir David was honoured with a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Harper was seen outside her older brother's home in Los Angeles. However, any hopes the young star had of extending an olive branch to her older brother were dashed as Harper didn't enter the property. Instead, Brooklyn was in New York, on the other side of the United States and shared an image of himself on a run. Now, the chef has taken to social media, sharing a paid advertisement with a cryptic caption, saying: "It's complicated". After the pictures of his sister emerged, a source said that Brooklyn felt "uncomfortable" and claimed that it was an "orchestrated move by his family." Sources close to his parents had hit out after Brooklyn's team claimed the pictures had been "choreographed". "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother," a source close to his parents said. Key Events While Brooklyn may have ignored the ongoing drama surrounding him, his social media followers have issued a warning. In the comment section of his latest post, one fan wrote: "Please don't forget your family. Don’t forget that it was David Beckham who brought you to where you are today. You and your brothers — your father is a great man, and don't forget your mother." Another added: "You knew what you was doing with this commercial." "I'm wondering why you're refusing to speak to your parents?" asked a third. Brooklyn has returned to social media! In a paid DoorDash advertisement, he questioned whether fans would be watching the World Cup from his home in Los Angeles. "It's a long story," he said, before the video displayed the caption: "It's complicated. More soon." The Mirror's Associate Editor (Showbiz), Tom Bryant, was at Cruz's headline gig and saw just how upset David and Victoria are. Speaking about Cruz's emotions as he sang Loneliest Boy, Tom said: "Both look visibly emotional as David wipes his eyes, and Victoria tenderly puts her arm around his waist. Hearing the lyrics - and seeing their boy briefly waver on stage - it’s no surprise the song sparked such strong emotions." After becoming emotional on stage while singing about his older brother, Cruz turned to his mum for advice. The youngest of the Beckham sons performed with his band, The Breakers, at The Courtyard Theatre in East London in March. But during one track, he became overwhelmed when he saw his older brother Romeo looking emotional in the crowd. The song, an apparent reference to Brooklyn, includes the lyrics: "Loneliest boy, I hope that you're listening, don't push all your friends away, when we're tryna show you love." In a new video, Cruz asked his mum: "The vocals didn't sound like total crap, did they?" She replied: "Not at all. I know that you're not happy with it. And we can always better ourselves. "You are entertaining the crowd, you play an instrument, and you're singing - that is a lot. It's really impressive. You just need your process. You're doing a job - everyone else is there socially - this is your job." She added: "I know that I am your mum and I have not done this for a long time, but I know your voice. And if you ever need anyone to just sit there or watch... don't be thinking that you're sounding bad because you did not at all." Legendary DJ Fat Tony, who DJ'ed at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, has revealed why he made the decision to speak out. During an appearance on This Morning, he opened up about what really happened following claims that Victoria "danced inappropriately" on her eldest son. Speaking to The Telegraph about why he decided to speak out, Tony, whose real name is Anthony Marnoch, said: "I just kind of thought, you know what, I’m not going to throw anyone under a bus, I just spoke from the heart. "I wasn't there to slag off Victoria and David. I wasn't spilling the beans. Of course, that escalated into a million people turning into lawyers, saying, 'You signed an NDA' or whatever. I didn't." While on the This Morning sofa, Tony said the situation had become "really awkward" for everybody involved. A new video has shed light on the family feud following Cruz Beckham's emotional concert in March, and the moment the budding musician broke down over their rift. In a new YouTube vlog focused on the evening, he revealed it was the sight of his brother Romeo, 23, looking emotional that tipped him over the edge as he sang Loneliest Boy - widely thought to be about their fractured bond. He said: "I saw Romeo's face and I was like, ah, f***. Every part of the song I just wanted to look away and break down and I couldn't - and then having to sing through, crying. I just felt embarrassed as well." The ladies of Loose Women have spoken about the Beckham feud - and they've decided that regardless of what really happened, children should never be involved in family drama. Lisa Riley shared that she was always kept out of family drama as a child, while Sue Cleaver was clear that she would never want children involved in any of her drama. Shortly after Brooklyn officially cut ties with his family, Fat Tony, who DJed his wedding, did the newsrounds saying the dance between Victoria and Brooklyn at the reception really was "awkward" and that Nicola had fled the room in tears. He has now said that he communicated with Brooklyn and Nicola before speaking. He told The Telegraph: “I wanted to shut down the inappropriate dance thing everyone was making memes about. “It was getting to the point where everyone forgot the reality was that some kid’s hurting and a family’s lost their son. I wanted to shut that down and change the narrative.” He added that there was a Whatsapp group with Brooklyn and Nicola. Mirror readers are debating if the Beckham rift is ever going to be healed after Harper tried to visit her estranged brother. Have your say here - Will the Beckhams ever heal their rift? Take our poll and have your say New family photos from David Beckham's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony show how much they miss their "much-loved son", says a body language expert, as Harper tries to visit Brooklyn. Body language expert Judi James has said that the pictures from the Walk of Fame ceremony and the way the family are posing in them send non-verbal signals of a tight-knit unit, who are "clearly missing their much-loved son", whilst also placing star David at the centre. Judi said: "With Brooklyn's exit from the line-up it's probably more important than ever that the brand looks solid, which has made these non-verbal signals at David's Walk of Fame an important message of 'shoring up' as a loving group despite them clearly missing their much-loved son. "The poses do what Beckham's poses always do, which is to present a rather over-choreographed message of adoration and pride. This was David's achievement, meaning a shuffling of the pack from when it's Victoria being honored or showing off her new collection, and David was placed in the center of all the attention and poses, drawing the eye and the cameras like a lightning conductor. "This is what Victoria and David are good at: taking it in terms to be the star of the family. And if and when their children achieve fame for their talent they will also be placed in the center to bask in the others' beams of pride and love." She added: "David appeared splayed a macho during this appearance, grinning next to Tom Cruise but clearly taking star spot. He managed to look fulfilled and delighted despite the gap in the family line-up that must have created an aching heart too. "Victoria appeared to be even more active than usual in terms of filling any gaps of love in the line-up, snuggling up to her husband and then performing the iconic kiss, where she registered proud, non-negotiable ownership of her man by placing two splayed-fingered hands on either side of his head in a head clamp gesture as she scrunched her shoulders like a besotted fan and planted her lips onto his in a 'reward kiss' of pride, love and even hero-worship. "In the brand line-up it was David again central and looking totally delighted while Victoria held one hand and Harper the other. There's always an attempt to show even amounts of love in a Beckham line-up, although now the boys have their own partners they were allowed to pose framing their body language with them more than the others. "As the other sons get older, they appear to be looking less keen to adopt the usual 'team' poses where they all grin in matching unison or wear matching styles, but it could be a wiser choice for David and Victoria to remember to ease off on the umbillical chords to avoid any similar feelings as Brooklyn of not being able to do their own thing." Lorraine and Ross King seemed to have differing opinions on the latest Beckham drama. In a regular segment on her show, Lorraine discussed the recent showbiz news with Ross. Ross asked: "Is anyone buying this?" He added that it seemed strange that photographers were there, ready to take a photo of her. But Lorraine stuck up for Harper saying "it's not nice" of people to say the rejected visit was orchestrated. She added: "Don't go blaming a little girl." David Beckham became "emotional" as he mentioned his children whilst accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was supported by his wife Victoria, whom he married in 1999 following her rise to fame as a member of the Spice Girls, and their children Harper, 14, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, but notably absent was their eldest Brooklyn, who has become publicly estranged from his family after marrying heiress Nicola Peltz. Despite the rift David spoke of how much he loved all of his kids as he accepted the prestigious honour. He said: "My parents and my sisters who have always supported my dreams. Victoria, my amazing wife of almost 30 years, without whom none of this would be possible or enjoyable. "My beautiful children are the reason I get out of bed in the morning. Kids, I'm going to get emotional now, kids, I hope you bring my grandchildren here one day and tell them about a boy who dreamed big. To make you all proud is my greatest achievement, I am so grateful for you all, I love you." It seems Harper isn't the only one trying to keep her ties to Brooklyn secure. Prior to her visit to Brooklyn's home, brother Romeo shared his love for the estranged Beckham sibling. Before David's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, younger brother Romeo, 23, held out a semblance of hope that his brother would attend the prestigious ceremony, along with his mum Victoria, sister Harper and brother Cruz. When stopped on the street and asked by a videographer if Brooklyn will be attending, he heartbreakingly replied, "We love him. We love him." Brooklyn posted on Instagram: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. "I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. "The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out. "My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. "Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. "My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me "evil" because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours. "The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was 'not blood' and 'not family'. Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders. "Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer. "My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment. "My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one. My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable. "Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad's birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner. "When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all. "My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family "love" is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations. "We've gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show "our perfect family!" But the one time my wife asked for my mum's support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused. "The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. "My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family." In an interview with Variety that coincided with receiving his Hollywood star over the weekend, David Beckham shut down questions about his ongoing feud with his son Brooklyn. During the interview, he was asked how he deals with "vicious" media coverage about "strife" among the Beckhams, but he responded: "To be honest, I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter. That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about." Speaking to The Mail, a source from Brooklyn's camp have said that if the Beckhams sent Harper to Brooklyn's house, this "proves what Brooklyn has been saying all along". They said: "They are digging deep into their bag of tricks with this. This option that they chose is so counter-productive. It achieves nothing other than relaying their desperation and all that results in is that the relationship just deteriorates." Brooklyn has reportedly not had any meaningful contact with his sister since their father's 50th bairthday last year, and the source said that he "has had very limited contact for a reason", with the latest events showing "his instincts were right". Friends of the Beckhams insisted that they were not aware Harper planned to visit her brother and that the photographer was simply "lucky" to catch her there. The Mirror reached out for comment. Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has shared what she thinks on the feud between Victoria Beckham and Brooklyn. The actress appeared at Docfest to appear on a panel on celebrity documentaries. Whislt there, Miriam said she thought it would be "interesting" to see Victoria talk about how "hurt" she was by the feud with her eldest son. “If Victoria Beckham were vulnerable and showed herself, you know, being hurt by her son who won't speak to them," Miriam said. "That would be interesting, don't you think? I want to see people not being perfect. I want them to be interested in the imperfect and I think that’s what good documentaries do.” Brooklyn Beckham has been photographed in a foot brace as he poses alongside wife Nicola Peltz, but his foot injury remains a mystery. The couple attended an event in Los Angeles on Thursday June 11, with Nicola sharing snaps of them together on Instagram. In one shot, the aspiring chef and his actress wife held hands as they made their way to the event. But eagle-eyed fans will have noticed the foot brace on Brooklyn's left foot. Brooklyn was last seen with his parents in mid-2024, before their feud escalated. However, he did attempt to reunite with his dad, Sir David, in May last year for his 50th birthday. However, Brooklyn's hopes to meet privately didn't go to plan, so he decided against attending any of the festivities. Although Brooklyn and Nicola were not at home when Harper turned up at their residence, they're aware of the images of his sister. A source told The Sun: "Brooklyn and Nicola are aware that Harper visited their Los Angeles home. They have not responded. It felt like an orchestrated move by his family and made them feel uncomfortable." Ignoring the drama surrounding his older brother, musician Cruz, took to his own Instagram to share pictures alongside his family. One image showed the singer and his former footballer father, Sir David, taking a shot in a restaurant. Another image saw Harper posing alongside her older brother as they ordered ice cream. Despite ongoing tensions within the Beckham family, they appeared picture-perfect on Friday. As crowds gathered on Hollywood Boulevard for Sir David's star unveiling, he proudly posed with his wife, Lady Beckham, sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper. In an interview prior to the ceremony, David refused to discuss the feud with Variety. He said: "To be honest, I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter. That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about." Despite falling out with his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria, and his younger siblings, Brooklyn has maintained relationships with some relatives. He's kept in contact with both his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his cousins Finlay, Tallulah, and Oscar, and still follows them on social media. Earlier this year, Brooklyn took to Instagram Stories to issue a scathing statement. After years of claims that he was locked in a feud with his family, he lashed out, saying he had been "silent for years" and had attempted to keep matters private. He fumed: "Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed." But could Brooklyn see himself reuniting with his family? The wannabe chef went on to add: "I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into." Romeo Beckham has now chimed in, taking a swipe at his older brother. Sharing a snap of himself and Harper on Instagram, he said: "My favourite person ever @harperbeckham," alongside a white heart emoji. While Sir David and Lady Beckham have remained very tight-lipped on the situation, a friend has said it is "incredibly sad". They told the Daily Mail: "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother. "Nothing needed to be said at all, so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary." In a furious outburst, a spokesperson for Brooklyn claimed that Harper's visit was "choreographed". They told Page Six: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras." Taking to Instagram just hours after, he re-shared a post on his Instagram Story, showing him out for a run around New York – meaning he is miles away from his Californian home. The 14-year-old had been in the US with her brothers, Romeo and Cruz, and mum Victoria to celebrate dad, Sir David, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hours after the ceremony, Harper was photographed arriving at Brooklyn's mansion in an SUV. In pictures obtained by Page Six, Harper was seen walking to the gates alone, still wearing her pink silk dress from the ceremony. Insiders said Harper arrived 'unannounced' and she was the only one of the family to make the trip. However, attempts at a reconciliation fell flat as Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were nowhere to be seen, and the youngest Beckham did not go inside.
