Shoppers searching for a hair product that "refreshes the hair" may well find their answer on the digital store shelves at Home Bargains. The budget retailer, which has earned a strong reputation for its purse-friendly homeware and household goods, claims the product "effectively washes hair".
The Revlon Eksperience Sebum Control Balancing Hair Cleanser ordinarily retails at £40, but Home Bargains has slashed the price by an impressive 80 per cent, meaning customers can snap one up for just £7.99.
Describing the product, Home Bargains said: "Revlon Eksperience Sebum Control shampoo gently balances oily scalps with natural marine and plant extracts, leaving hair refreshed, voluminous, and strengthened. Vegan and packed with over 92% natural ingredients for a clean, healthy feel."
Designed specifically for those with oily scalps, it features a blend of marine and plant-based ingredients intended to help regulate sebum levels. Key ingredients include Maris Aqua, seaweed extracts, rosemary and sage, as well as creatine, hydrolysed hyaluronic acid and panthenol.
The well-known brand claims the formula can aid scalp health, strengthen hair and boost manageability. Simply apply to wet hair, massage thoroughly into the scalp and rinse out completely.
It comes in a no-frills 1000ml bottle bearing the Eksperience branding, with the phrases 'Sebum Control' and 'Balancing Hair Cleanser' printed prominently on the front.
Shoppers seem thoroughly impressed with the shampoo, with many heading to Amazon to leave glowing reviews. One customer described it as "good for controlling hair fat" and claimed it could be used every day without stripping moisture from the hair.
Another labelled it a "professional shampoo that regulates sebum", noting they had seen a marked improvement in oil levels while finding their hair felt considerably softer. They also pointed out that the product goes a long way, as it is intended to be diluted with water prior to use.
A third reviewer hailed it an "excellent product" for helping to rebalance sebum production on the scalp, stating they use it at least once a week and would happily recommend it to others dealing with the same issues.
Those hoping to get their hands on the shampoo in one of Home Bargains' 600-plus stores will be left disappointed, as the deal is exclusively available online. Home delivery is on offer, with standard shipping priced at £3.95, while orders exceeding £100 qualify for free delivery, according to the Home Bargains Help Centre.
