7 dead, 30 injured after under-construction temple roof collapses in Maharashtra's Parbhani district

PARBHANI: At least seven devotees died and another 30 were injured when the roof of an under-construction Hanuman temple collapsed during a religious programme at Yashwadi in Manavat taluka of Parbhani district on Saturday afternoon.
The injured are undergoing treatment at various hospitals. Manwat tehsildar Pandurang Mochewad said around six injured devotees are critical.
"The rescue teams reached the spot in quick time and took out trapped devotees through coordinated efforts," he said.
Parbhani district Guardian Minister Meghana Bordikar said all necessary financial assistance will be provided to the injured and the families of the victims.
