Kacper Cichor, aged 28, from Braunstone, Leicester was last seen on July 21 and was reported missing the following day, sparking a search operation. Leicestershire Police now believe that a body found belongs to Mr Cichor. The force is not treating the death as suspicious. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. Kacper attended Mansfield House police station in Leicester city centre on July 21 where he handed in some property, according to police. He was then reported to have been seen in Webster Road, near Braunstone Park, at around 2.30pm that day. As part of the investigation police released CCTV images showing him wearing a burgundy T-shirt, black jeans and grey sliders, reported LeicestershireLive. A spokesperson for the police said: "Police have confirmed that a body has been found as a result of a missing person investigation to find Kacper Cichor. "Kacper, aged 28 and from Braunstone, was last seen on Tuesday 21 July and was reported missing the following day. The incident is not being treated as suspicious but officers believe that the person found is Kacper. "His next of kin have been informed and we ask for privacy for his family and friends at this difficult time. Thank you to all the public who assisted in this investigation." Many people have taken to social media to express their sadness following his death. One person wrote on Facebook: "Very sad news, was hoping he’d be found well. Went to primary school with Kacper." Another comment read: "This is not the news anyone wanted .. be free Kacper thinking of everyone that knows him," and a further stated: "This is absolutely heartbreaking, I was really hoping that he'd be found safe and well. Condolences to the family. RIP young man."
