There’s a lagoon in Ruabon, north Wales, that is so toxic that the barrels containing the chemicals dumped in it have rotted away. Until about 20 years ago, children used to play around it. Michael Sheen’s compassionate and enraging exposé of the alleged poisoning of parts of his homeland decades ago by contractors working for the now defunct chemical company Monsanto concludes with the actor meeting people with cancer who are searching for accountability.
