Emergency services raced to the scene near Mickleton earlier this morning (Saturday, September 5), to reports of a car crash. A Ford C-Max was found to have left the road and crashed into a tree at around 7.30am on Bakers Hill, between Mickleton and Hidcote, Gloucestershire Live reports. A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said that a 36-year-old man from the Stratford area was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Road closures remain in place on Bakers Hill while collision investigators examine the scene. Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
