Mum killed in Woolton horror crash named as family say 'there are no words' Kelly Marie Lundie was sadly killed when her car veered off the road and smashed into a brick wall on Friday in Woolton The heartbroken family of a "gorgeous" and "devoted" mum who died after a serious car crash in Woolton have paid tribute to her. Kelly Marie Lundie tragically died on Friday (September 4) when a red Nissan Juke came off the road and crashed into a brick wall at the corner junction of Allerton Road and High Street. Emergency services scrambled to the scene of the horror crash at around 11.30pm but sadly declared the 38-year-old dead at the scene. Another vehicle, a white Vauxhall Astra, was also involved in the crash. The area remained cordoned off yesterday morning, September 5, as Merseyside Police 's serious collision investigation unit attended the scene. Since the tragedy, heartfelt tributes to Kelly Marie have been pouring in on social media while floral tributes have been laid at the roadside. In a statement, her family described her as a "gorgeous" mum who "brought so much fun, affection and happiness" to their lives, Liverpool Echo reports. They said: "Kelly Marie Lundie was gorgeous, inside and out. She was outgoing and full of life. Her presence could light up a room, and her smile and personality will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. “Above all, Kelly was a devoted and beloved mother to her son, Caleb. He was her world, and the love she had for him was immeasurable. She was also the best aunty to her nephews, who adored her and shared a very special bond with her. She brought so much fun, affection and happiness into their lives. “Kelly was a cherished daughter, a much-loved sister, a wonderful aunty and a loyal friend. She meant something different and special to so many people, and her loss has left an enormous space in the lives of everyone who loved her. “There are no words that can truly express how deeply Kelly will be missed.” Friends of Kelly Marie described her as a "lovely, kind-hearted" woman, a "beautiful soul" and "a gorgeous person inside and out". Writing on the ECHO's Facebook page, Lill Connor Willman said: "I can’t believe you're gone Kel. I will treasure our memories we had forever! You wore your heart on your sleeve and will be truly missed. RIP sweet Kel. Love always and forever your Lill." Stacey Kirwinn said: "Such a beautiful girl inside and out.
