Woman arrested after baby found dead in Sydney bin

A woman believed to be the mother of a baby found in a Sydney bin last month has been arrested, police say. Emergency services were called to Harrow Road, Auburn, at 11:20am on August 31 after reports a baby's body was discovered in a garbage bin. In a statement today, NSW Police said a 24-year-old woman "believed to be the mother of the infant" was located and taken to hospital for assessment.
