While the Duke of Sussex has hit the ground running since returning to his home country with a series of engagements, the Duchess has remained out of the spotlight, only being seen fleetingly at an Oxfordshire pub on Monday. But now, Meghan’s close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen has posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram showing Harry, Meghan and their daughter Lilibet spending quality time together in the UK, as she enjoyed a holiday in the English countryside. Kelly shared photos of Meghan and Harry playing with her baby son Jack, as well as a snap of her talking with Lilibet, who was captured from the back with her ginger hair flowing freely. In the caption, Kelly said she was ‘having the best time’ in the UK, and relished in ‘getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie’. She also spoke sweetly of the Sussex’s new chapter in Britain, and thanked people for welcoming Harry and Meghan back to England. She wrote: “Having the best time. There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure. I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart. “[England] you’ve been so good to us. We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here. To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!” Meghan is pictured in two photos of Kelly’s post, with the first showing the Duchess holding baby Jack in what appears to be a pub. In the second photo, she is seen sitting in a garden enjoying a glass of wine with Kelly. Harry is also seen in one of the pictures, as he was captured laying on the floor while interacting with his friend’s toddler. Kelly and Meghan have been friends for nearly 20 years, having originally met through Meghan's ex-husband Trevor Engelson. Kelly even appeared on the Duchess’ Netflix programme With Love, Meghan, as she made festive decorations in the holiday special episode, and took to the kitchen to cook up a special dish in the first season of the show. Earlier this year, Kelly spoke about her friendship with Meghan as the pair attended the Alliance for Children's Rights 34th Annual Champions for Children event in Beverly Hills. The two friends stepped out to honour Kelly's work with the Alliance of Moms and embraced each other on the red carpet. Talking candidly about the Duchess, Kelly said that she is always "doing things quietly". Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, Kelly added: "She's an incredible role model in living a life of service. She does not necessarily do everything loudly; she does things quietly, so it's really beautiful to watch. "I think we feed off of each other because we love to give back, and we love to support and be of service to others." Reflecting on Meghan attending the event, Kelly commented: "Meghan is one of my best friends, and I'm honoured that she said yes [to presenting] and that she's been along this journey with me as well. "She supports the alliance, and she's been doing this for a few years now." Kelly also expressed her joy of seeing the Duchess being a mum to her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. "She not only shows up for my family, but it's a real privilege to be able to watch her mother too," Kelly said.
