Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off a ‘royal-style’ away day in Nottingham today, marking their first joint public engagement since returning to the UK.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved back to Britain with their children in August, headed to the city to support causes close to their hearts.
Enthusiastic crowds greeted the couple to their first stop at the Community Recording Studio (CRS) in St Ann’s, where they chatted to supporters and posed for pictures before heading inside. Harry has supported the organisation’s work helping young people find alternatives to violence and crime for years.
The couple then visited food poverty charity Himmah Hub, where Meghan reunited with women behind her 2018 charity cookbook, before rounding off the day at Epic Partners. The visits brought them back to the city they toured shortly after announcing their engagement in 2017.
