Epigenetic clocks quantify biological ageing and may provide sensitive biomarkers of cumulative toxicological stress. Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are persistent contaminants that bioaccumulate in marine food webs, yet their long-term physiological consequences for wildlife remain poorly understood.
